HAZARDOUS WASTE: Free Drop-Off In Waukee | Environment
Waukee residents can get rid of items that aren’t usually collected May 11th.
Metro Waste Authority and western suburbs partner every year to help residents get rid of unused hazardous products in a safe way.
The next free household hazardous waste drop-off event is from 8 a.m. to Noon at Waukee Middle School, 905 Warrior Lane.
What to bring
Items under the sink with labels reading “Flammable,” “Keep Away from Children,” “Toxic” or “Corrosive” are the types of items accepted for free.
Latex paint, electronic waste, pharmaceuticals and tires.
